This website provides independent academic information about the Prephysics research programme and its publications. It uses no audience analytics, advertising networks, social-media pixels or remotely loaded web fonts.

2. Hosting and technical access data

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When a page is requested, the hosting and security infrastructure processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser and operating-system information. This is necessary to deliver content, maintain stability and prevent misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and efficient provision of the website. The recipient is Cloudflare, Inc., including affiliated companies and service providers described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Cloudflare may process data in third countries and identifies, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer mechanisms.

The operator performs no audience analytics and does not routinely retrieve personal visitor profiles. Technical data are processed only for as long as required for delivery, security, troubleshooting and legal obligations; Cloudflare’s own retention and deletion rules also apply.

3. No cookies, analytics or remote font providers

The website’s own code sets no cookies and uses neither local storage nor session storage. Fonts are supplied exclusively by the visitor’s operating system. A consent banner is therefore not used for the present technical configuration.

4. Contact by e-mail

If you contact the operator by e-mail, the information supplied is processed to answer the enquiry and manage the resulting correspondence. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where the communication concerns an agreement, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. E-mail is handled through Gmail; Google Ireland Limited and affiliated companies may process data under their own privacy terms. Correspondence is retained only for as long as required for the purpose and applicable legal obligations.

5. External links

The website links to external services, including ORCID, PhilPeople, Zenodo and DOI resolvers. The external site is contacted only when a link is selected. The respective provider is responsible for its processing.

6. Data-subject rights

Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place. Complaints may be lodged with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

7. Status

Last updated: 27 July 2026. This notice will be updated if the technical operation or applicable legal requirements materially change.
