Prephysics as a research mode

Prephysics is the systematic investigation of the conditions that must be satisfied before a physical description can legitimately be applied. It is not a critique of physics, but an inquiry into the infrastructure that physical explanation presupposes.

The Applicability Diagnostics programme develops this prior question into an auditable method with explicit levels, applicability conditions, diagnostic signatures and verdicts.
