Counterexample Register
A public record for source-backed objections to claim assignment, source interpretation, or scope. Every in-scope submission is logged with its status and reasons; sender identity is not published by default.
Purpose
A correction path that remains visible
The register documents objections that could change how a claim or case is classified, how a primary source is interpreted, or how far a stated conclusion reaches. Entries preserve the objection, the source basis, the review history, the decision and any resulting correction or version change.
Registration does not imply that an objection is valid. It means that an in-scope challenge is not allowed to disappear into private correspondence.
No submissions received.
Submission rule
How to submit an objection
Send an e-mail to zierhutprivat@gmail.com and identify: (1) the affected passage, claim or case; (2) the relevant primary source, preferably with a stable link, DOI or exact location; and (3) a concise reason why the existing assignment, source interpretation or scope statement is wrong or materially incomplete.
Every in-scope submission is logged. If the supplied material is not sufficient for assessment, the entry is retained with status not assessable and a reason. Spam, duplicate technical messages and correspondence unrelated to a counterexample claim are not register entries.
The public entry records the substantive objection and cited source. A sender’s name or e-mail address is not published by default; a name is shown only with explicit consent. See Privacy for the legal basis, retention and objection rights.

Entries and decisions
Each status change is appended with its date in the status-history field rather than overwriting the earlier state. Decisions and later corrections remain traceable in the register history.
